| New Zealand
New Zealand wines have stormed into our hearts and into our fridges, where they dominate the "fresh, dry white" category with their vibrant, citrussy, grassy, tropical fruit driven Sauvignon Blancs. Look beyond the usual suspects, however, and you'll find some fabulous, seafood friendly Pinot Gris and flinty, dry riesling in the Alsace style. The Kiwis are fast becoming the Pinot Noir champions of the world and who can resist those polished, silky, savoury reds that slip down easier than Neil Kinnock on a Brighton Beach.
