This tiny winery on the windswept, cool climate peninsula to the south-west of Melbourne uses only fruit grown in its own carefully tended vineyards.  As predicted, this style, with its understated elegance and refinement, combined with classic drinkability is what its all about in Australian Chardonnay now.  And no other area outside of Puligny Montrachet is making chardonnay of this calibre with such consistency today than Australia.   Serve it with your best seafood dishes, shellfish, veal or poultry.  This vintage sees the palate have both creamy richness and weight, with melon and pear flavours, as well as nervy acidity that keeps the structure tight, and sees lemon zest, grapefruit, and oyster shell notes coming through on the finish.
