From one of Portugal's oldest and finest red wine estates and considered by many to be making Porgual's finest red wine Quinta do Vale Meao.        
The wine is made by genius Francisco Olazabal from a blend of eight local grapes, dominated by Touriga Nacional. 
Grapes for bothe Meandro and Vale Meao are first trodden in the old lagares at the winery before being transferred to vats for fermentation, all done by variety.  Full of fruit and spice, fleshy yet firm with a true Douro grip and very good value. Drink 2010 - 2016
