| Full bodied rich white On the nose, it reveals earthy and mineral tones, lime zest and white flower. On the palate, it is fat and very long with honeyed tones and ripe citrus fruit. Try with with grilled fish (monkfish, sea bream, fish soup) or with a selection of goat cheeses or simply as an apertif.
A delicious dry white from one of the most beautiful places in France, the Island of Porquerolle near Nice. Both the land and the sea here is classified a national park, so organic methods are mandatory on the island. The vineyard is in the middle of the island, owned by Sebastien Le Ber the descendent of the Fournier family who bought the island in 1910 after returning from the Mexican silver mines. The grapes for the white are Rolle (also known as Vermentino) and Viognier. Exclusive to Philglas & Swiggot. |
