What have we here then? Australian winemaker Mark Haisma in Burgundy making wonderful expressions of Pinot Noir.   With the first release of his new red wines Mark Haisma makes it look easy.    A super value straight Bourgogne Pinot Noir is one of the best values we've seen at this price for a long while.  The impressive Gevrey Chambertin is drinking now and has beautiful balance and depth.   We look forward to seeing the Grand Cru wines next year. 

Impressive stuff given that not only is Mark making the wines but it was he that also came into our shop and talked us through the wines and sold them to us. This is a terroir driven wine made with absolute dedication to the surroundings of Burgundy. If this first vintage is anything to go by expect to see great things from Mark these wines are pure and lovely.
