Located in the region that contains some of the Languedoc top producers La Liviniere in Minervois, this is a 300 year old domaine that has recently been revitalised by founders Tim Ford and Anthony Record. They've used the New World winery model and included a restaurant and cellar door and then roped in South Africa's Boekenhoutskloof winemaker Vincent Chansault to come work for them.  With his love of Rhone Valley Syrah, Vincent has produced a very different style of Syrah we'd normally taste in France.  Cool, restrained and very polished with black pepper, spice and black fruits and none of the animal character you normally get with Minervois reds.
