What a long way the humble Bonarda grape variety has come. Originally planted in Piemonte along side Barbera and brought to Argentina in the first part of the 20th century, where it flourished. A red-purple colour, deep and brilliant, with intense aromas of raspberry and strawberry. Silky tannis with typical Bonardo acidity, well intergrated into a solid body, with surprising persistence for an unoaked line. |
