The Lujan de Cuyo area of Mendoza region was Argentina's first official appelation and has been consistently excellent for producing wondeful Malbec, and the quality is only getting better.
From this region comes a wine of deep red colour and great intensity. A magnificently flavoursome affair, this Malbec is brimming with notes of ripe plum, fig and blackcurrant, while finishing on smokier vanilla and snuff box notes, a reminder of it's 10 months in French oak. The body is wonderfully balanced and refined. |
