| Layers of fossils and marine life form layers up to 4-5 metres in the calcare rich soils in Vaucoupin. Of all France's vineyards it is in Chablis that you see the greatest effect of soils and site position that make up the character and structure of the wines. This flinty mineral character abounds in the Vaucoupin which is fleshed out with soft succulent fruit and racy finish. |
