Tabali Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon
Origins Chile, Limari Valley
Style Dry red wine
Grape Cabernet Sauvignon
Near the Atacama desert in the northernmost part of Chile, nestled in the valleys running from the Andes Mountains down to the Pacific Ocean, where the Camanchaca fog blankets the Limari area each morning. Tabali has the honour of stewardship of the Limari Valley's most significant archaeological sites, the Valle des Encanto which borders their vineyards. The many rock drawings and carved Tacita stones depict the sacred site of the ancient Molle and Diaguita cultures. The mask logo has been taken from one of the rock carvings. Anyway, back to the wines: Yanira Maldonado Guiterrez was working with Errazuriz before he was tempted away to make the wines at this spectacular winery, the elegance and restraint put them in the top class of Chilean wines. |
