Where the 2005 had a touch for vigour and flesh the 2006 needs a half an hour in the decanter before it hints at the promise of this great vintage. At first quite dry and tannic, this starts to soften and reveals the depths and dark curranty fruits we've become used to from this superb Bordeaux. Made by Beatrice Larribiere at their property in the heart of St Emilion. This will no doubt be another great cellar choice for 2012. |
