Our 30 Years in London

Philglas and Swiggot was founded in 1991 at 21 Northcote Road, Battersea and we have been part of the local community ever since. Over the last 30 years the business has grown a loyal and devoted customer base and created a unique range of premium wines, spirits & beers from around the world.

Our roots are in SW11 and as our customer base and business grew, we expanded to add two further stores and in 2019 added a new Enoteca to our West End store in New Quebec Street, Marylebone to cement our position as one of London's most loved independent wine merchants.

All our stores are open every day of the week and staffed by a devoted and highly knowledgeable team. Our rapidly growing online, trade, and fine wine divisions has further extended our national reach over the past two years.

Recently awarded Decanter’s 'BEST LONDON MULTI-STORE' 2021 Runner-up, the judges said ‘Philglas continues to buy well and engage its customers with a unique personality.’

We couldn’t agree more, and we very much look forward to celebrating with you and all the Philglas community!
